Sound of Science was the very first Belgium science open air festival and the Laboratory of Plant Ecology could not not be there of course. It took place on the 27th of May 2018. Sap flow was illustrated by coloring more than 300 flowers blue, there was an acoustic emission sensor (AES) setup to detect cavitation and a TreeWatch.net demo setup which were enthusiastically explained to hundreds of people by Kathy, Niels, Fran, Sarah and Hans.
