The ‘Vlaamse Wetenschapsweek’ or ‘Flemish Week of Science’ 2016 is one complete week (24 – 28 October) where science is at the centre of everything. Students from elementary schools and high schools (ages 10 to 18) get the opportunity to visit universities and do all kinds of fun experiments.
Our lab (especially Fran, Jens, Jeroen, Linus and Jonas vdC) participated actively this year and invited two classes to come visit our lab and do some fun experiments related to our research. We showed them how photosynthesis works, how we can let trees talk and much more…
